Honestly, I have been very leery of social sites and "microblogging". It was only through much social pressure did I join the facebook world. With the prompt of this online endeavor, I now have a twitter account and soon an instagram. I think it is good to embrace change. Education is also going that route, so I need to be ready. I see the benefits of "microblogging'. It is a quick way to stay up-to-date with sites and people that interest you. Valuable information can be transmitted in a few short "tweets" or the "photos". It also allows me to be in touch with a variety of people or sites, in a variety of places, on my own terms and time frame. That is essentially the "beatuty" of "microblogging."
