After visiting the "Big List of Online Productivity Tools" and exploring some different ones. I loved the Pandora link. It gives you access to music in the genre you prefer. You can also add different music genres together and have it "shuffle" the music for you. To listen continuously, there is a small added fee, but this is a great tool for workout music. It beats spending time and creating playlists for your ipod or burning cds.
Another great tool is Google docs. Since I already have a google account, I was able to use this application without having to setup anything new. This application allows me to have the portability to create and save word documents anywhere via the internet connection with ease. It is also really easy to email and save my documents for later. This allows me the freedom to create documents without being connected to my home/school computer. It eliminates the step of saving docs onto a flash drive and carrying the flashdrive with me all the time. I love this app. I will definitely be using this for my weekly school lessons plans.
I liked the Google Calanders tool and I made a account. I like this online calendar tool instead of using the calendar tool in my iphone. If I were to ever lose my iphone, i lose my calendar events because they were in my phone, but if I have them in Google Calendar as long as I have the internet I can access the calendar. It is also easier to sync events of occurring on facebook to it.
One another app tool I was interested in using in the future was the "Mapmyrun." I like the capabilities of the app to track and monitor your runs. I am not really running right now, but when I start up again, I want to use this app.
